Discreetly achieve a straighter smile without wires or brackets.
Clear Aligners are an orthodontic treatment that straightens teeth without the use of fixed metal braces. This form of orthodontics uses a series of clear custom aligner trays to straighten teeth. The aligners work by gradually move your teeth to the desired positions, providing straighter teeth.
For most of our patients, particularly adults, traditional orthodontic treatment can be quite daunting. This is due to the appearance of braces, and so clear aligners are perfect for this reason.

Since clear aligners are removable, it means there are no dietary restrictions. You are free to eat what you please, however this should still come with restrictions. Furthermore, this also means you can take them out to enjoy special occasions and events. The transparent aligner trays are barely noticeable when worn. This makes them highly convenient for professional workplaces and contexts.
The Clear Aligners treatment process
Clear Aligner treatment is relatively simple and should be easy to schedule into your day-to-day life.
The treatment begins with an initial consultation. During this consultation, we will examine your dental health. This will allow our team to decide whether clear aligner treatment is right for you or if you would be better suited to another treatment plan.
If Clear aligners can help you, we will begin by taking 3D digital scans of your teeth. These scans will be sent off to the laboratory where your aligners will be fabricated.
Your aligners will be specifically sized for your teeth and prepared for the specific tooth movements which will take place. Clear aligners are made of a clear thermoplastic material called SmartTrack. This BPA free plastic material is comfortable and provides great movement.
Once we receive your clear aligners back at our dental clinic, we will call you back in. During this consultation, you will receive three sets of aligners that will last you six weeks. Our dentists will ensure your aligners fit, and they will also teach you how to wear and clean your new aligners.
How long should clear aligners be worn for?
You must wear them for around 22 hours each day. This allows you two hours to remove your aligners for eating, drinking and cleaning per day. The aligners will blend seamlessly with your smile.
As your teeth slowly shift positions, you will need to progress through your set of aligners. You should move on to the next sequential aligner every two weeks. This next aligner will be made to accommodate for the small movements that your teeth are making. Each aligner in the series brings your teeth closer to the desired positions, towards your dream smile.
The average treatment time for clear aligners is around 9–24 months. This will vary depending on the original positioning of your teeth from patient to patient. The longevity of your treatment will also depend on the desired result. Wearing your aligners less than required may also negatively impact your final results.
